ISS

Abbreviation: International Space Station. The ISS is an habitable artificial satellite. It is a cooperative endeavor between the USA, Russia, Japan, Canada and the European Union. It orbits the Earth every 92 minutes at an average altitude of 250 miles. It has been continuously inhabited since November 2000.
